The World Union of Wound Healing Society (WUWHS) Congress 2026 will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as announced by MyCEB. The congress is expected to boost the economy of the country significantly, with an estimated 5,000 delegates attending. Under the theme “Global Paradigm Shift: Wound Management Specialty and Recognition”, the event will help Malaysia and other under-developed countries to have access to wound care.
YB Dato Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, said: “We acknowledge that business events are an important economic activity that can help the country’s economic recovery. More importantly, we believe that business events activities such as WUWHSC 2026, will bring profound benefits to our nation, especially to those in the wound healing profession and the patients as well.”
