IAPCO Publishes Country Factsheets for COVID-19 Guidelines

15th October 2021

IAPCO has put together, in one single document, the current COVID-related protocols and procedures in place within each of its Task Force Members’ destinations.

In June 2020, IAPCO assembled a small group of National PCO Associations from around the globe into a strategic Task Force. The objective was to facilitate the communication and dissemination of information related specifically to the impact that the COVID-19 Pandemic was having on the meetings industry. The Task Force has since grown into a Strategic Global group of 14 National PCO Associations representing companies directly involved in delivering meetings and events.

In September of 2020, the Task Force released The PCO Perspective: “Business events as strategic tools for driving post-pandemic recovery and renewal” in collaboration with Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC). In June 2021, the Task Force brought 5 Tourism Ministers together through a virtual platform to discuss the importance of business and professional events to their cities and regions.

IAPCO is now releasing this compilation of national / PCO guidelines from the different countries represented in our task force, the latest publication from the Strategic Global Task Force. The contents of this document are a reflection of the current COVID-related protocols and procedures in place within each of the Task Force Members’ destinations, at time of publishing.

Because guidelines are frequently adapted, the factsheets can be found on IAPCO’s website were they will be updated as the situation requires.
