The International Mining and Resources Conference + Expo (IMARC) has confirmed Sydney as its host city for 2025, marking the fourth consecutive year of the event in the city.
This decision follows an exceptional 2024 edition, which saw a 35% increase in speakers and delegates, attracting over 9,000 participants from 115 countries.
With 70% of exhibition space for 2025 already booked, the event continues to draw attention from industry leaders worldwide.
Hon John Graham, Minister for Jobs and Tourism, said: “Sydney is the nation’s premier destination for business events. We eagerly anticipate welcoming IMARC back in 2025 and encourage delegates to explore Sydney and its remarkable regional areas.”
Business Events Sydney CEO Lyn Lewis-Smith highlighted the event’s broader impact: “IMARC is not just about economic gains – it’s a platform for crucial discussions on ESG, sustainability, and Australia’s economic transition, showcasing our leadership on the global stage.”
The 2025 conference will once again be hosted at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) from 21–23 October, building on its legacy of driving meaningful change in the sector.
