A look back at the ICCA Congress
The ICCA Congress unfolded at QSNCC in November 2023, drawing a record-breaking attendance of 1100 delegates from 80 countries, marking the largest gathering ever in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference sessions delved deep into avant-garde strategies to augment event success, presenting attendees with real-world case studies, success narratives, and interactive workshops.
Beyond the confines of conference rooms, the event facilitated a holistic exploration of the host city. The meticulous execution by the organizers was unmistakable throughout the entire event, with all sessions impeccably hosted at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.
Marta Gomes, ICCA President, expressed her satisfaction with QSNCC as the primary venue for ICCA’s high-profile event this year. In her words, “We had an amazing experience in Bangkok with so much support, feeling welcome in the destination and QSNCC has been a very strong part of that. I think our delegates have felt, they enjoyed the space, light, the view, the comfort of the meeting room, the coffee, the food, so it’s been a very amazing experience.” Gomes highlighted the remarkable features of the venue, specifically praising the abundant natural light throughout the space and the functional elegance of the meeting rooms, which she described as a “wonderful space.”
Ray Bloom, Chairman & Found of IMEX Group, also lauded QSNCC as an extraordinary venue, affirming, “This is an outstanding venue for ICCA. This event has been a great success… it’s been a success, and one of the major reasons is because it has been held at the outstanding convention center.” Bloom specifically praised the venue’s design, infrastructure, and natural light, describing it as a space that universally uplifts the spirits of attendees. He also underscored how the venue’s unique offerings, allowing people to seamlessly transition from serious meetings to relaxation amidst the facilities, contributed to making the ICCA event at QSNCC very special.
