Architects Build A Sustainable Heritage In Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia will be the host of the Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA) International Forum in November 2024. Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) worked with the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM) to bring the conference to the city.

Over 2,000 delegates are expected to address tourism industry issues and make contributions of developing a city model for sustainable future communities. Under the theme ‘Diversecity – Humanity and Sustainable Growth’, the conference will help Malaysia showcase its advancement of tech community and how countries build timeless heritage in a sustainable manner.

Datuk Ar. Ezumi Harzani Ismail, Chairman of UIA International Forum 2024, said: “We sincerely hope that this Forum will achieve Global Declaration for the benefit of humanity while urging all nations to recognize and protect traditional heritage architecture in a sustainable balance with modern urbanisation.”
