Experts Enhance Veterinary Education in Tokyo

1st December 2022

The Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB) and the Japan Veterinary Cancer Society (JVCS) joined forces to win the bid for the World Veterinary Cancer Congress (WVCC).

The first of its kind held in Japan, the meeting comes to strengthen the already advanced veterinary oncology sector in the country.

Set for March 21 – 24 2024, WVCC is expected to attract over 900 participants, including 300 from abroad from more than 10 countries.

Topics will include dissemination of information on the latest advancements in clinical oncology and sharing results obtained through research in the ongoing fight against cancer and cutting-edge treatment options.

A generous subsidy from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) to provide financial and in-kind support for the Congress was essential in the selection of the city.
