Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre Launches Locally Sourced 2024 Menu

21st August 2024

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) has introduced its 2024 menu, “Seasoned by Queensland,” showcasing an array of fresh local produce.

Developed by Executive Chef Matthew Arnold and his team, the menu features dishes made with high-quality ingredients sourced from regional farmers and producers like those in the Scenic Rim and Lockyer Valley.

Emphasising sustainability, Arnold, a committed environmentalist, integrates eco-friendly practices throughout the menu’s development, from selection to service.

The new menu not only highlights the flavors of Australian cuisine but also supports the local economy significantly.

Recognised as Australia’s Best for Banqueting & Catering at the recent Meetings & Events Australia National Awards, BCEC continues to demonstrate culinary excellence and a dedication to promoting Queensland’s vibrant food scene.

General Manager of the ASM Global managed Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Kym Guesdon, said: “The Centre remains committed to supporting local businesses and showcasing Queensland produce at Centre events, offering clients and guests an authentic taste of Queensland cuisine.”
