In 2020, in the course of three months, over 60% of this year’s association events have pivoted to the virtual world, and that proportion is likely to increase. While the virtual world opens up a lot of possibilities, the lack of face-to-face presents several challenges for associations mindful of delivering an impactful experience.
By putting the needs of attendees at the core of the re-design process, associations can leverage this opportunity to gain valuable insights into what prompts participants to join an event, and how they consume and convert the content presented into insights and learnings.
