As the border with neighbouring Victoria opened, International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) has recently received news from the New South Wales (NSW) Department of Health that it can welcome up to 1,500 delegates at its premises. The approval proves the high health and safety standards for business events in place at ICC Sydney.
The events will be subject to one person per four square metres and allocated to groups no larger than 300 people in Separate Areas within the centre. The 43rd COSPAR Scientific Assembly, will be the first event to take place since the government’s exemption. It will be in hybrid format, in conjunction with a Space STEM Park, and it is estimated to attract up to 1,500 local participants.
ICC Sydney CEO, Geoff Donaghy, said: “We are committed to maximising the flow on benefits for businesses up and down our supply chain as events progressively return. We will do this through our direct relationships and via our Legacy Program, which is world-leading and incredibly well received by the community in Sydney and surrounding regions.”
