A new step towards the fast recovery of the meetings industry is now realised in Seoul. The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Convention Bureau announced heavy investments for attracting, hosting, and organizing international conferences. PCO costs are now taken into consideration and Seoul Experience Tour Program and Seoul VR Experience Booth are offered to first-time visitors. Support for safety remains high with ‘Seoul Relief Care Service’ and the ‘Future Seoul MICE Contest’ continues to boost innovation within events.
“It is inevitable that providing safety is our top priority at all times. At the same time, the bureau is doing the best to support the development of the industry to meet the needs of event planners and participants who have experienced the advantages of the digitalized MICE industry. We need to move forward together,” said Jin Hyeok Park, director of the Seoul Convention Bureau.
