Malaysia to Host World Federation of Hemophilia World Congress

16th August 2021

One of the most prestigious international meetings dedicated to the advancement of treatments to improve the lives of people with genetic bleeding disorders will go to Malaysia in 2024.

The congress will bring the world best professionals in hemophilia to Malaysia for the first time to provide local healthcare professional with valuable exposure to network, collaborate, share best practices amongst industry experts and finding for solution to save human lives.

“In line with the World Federations of Hemophilia’s mission of Treatment for All, Malaysia presented a very compelling case on why they need the congress to be at their shore. As the owner of the congress, hosting the International Congress of the World Federation of Hemophilia in Malaysia will not only benefit the Malaysian hemophilia community but also be able to bring this congress back to Southeast Asia after a 20-year gap. For the first time in Malaysia, it will be the perfect location to provide an affordable platform to educate and empower both individuals and communities regarding bleeding disorders especially for the delegates in this region,” said Jeremias Rodriguez, Director – Congress & Meetings for World Federation of Hemophilia.
