Vilnius will welcome the EBAN Congress for the first time on 1–2 June 2026, bringing Europe’s angel investment community to one of the continent’s fastest-rising startup and fintech centres.
The 26th edition of the congress is expected to gather more than 500 business angels, founders, corporates, policymakers and ecosystem leaders from across Europe.
This year’s programme will focus on Europe’s resilience, with particular attention to space and defence tech, biotech, cleantech and other enabling deep technologies.
The choice of Vilnius reflects Lithuania’s growing profile as a startup destination. The country is home to more than 1,100 startups and has produced five unicorns despite a population of just 2.8 million. It has also built a strong fintech base, with around 300 fintech companies and more than 130 licensed electronic money and payment institutions.
For Lithuanian Business Angels Network LitBAN, hosting the event marks a significant step for the local ecosystem. “We are very happy and proud to bring the EBAN Congress to Lithuania and Vilnius for the first time. This is an important recognition for the LitBAN community and for the Lithuanian startup ecosystem as a whole,” said LitBAN Director Roberta Rudokienė.
