Bruges: Fostering Better Lives for Individuals with Disabilities

27th October 2023

The European Academy of Childhood Disability (EACD) has chosen Bruges as the host city for its 36th annual conference from May 29 to June 1, 2024.

The conference’s goal is to enhance the quality of life for individuals who have experienced disabilities since childhood.

Bruges, with its central location in Europe and proximity to European decision-making centers, is an ideal choice to engage with local and European stakeholders during workshops.

The aim is to ensure affordable and accessible healthcare and education for children with early-life disabilities while placing this issue on the European agenda.

The conference, held at the Bruges Meeting & Convention Center (BMCC) and Concertgebouw Brugge, aligns with Bruges’ focus on healthcare and offers a platform for impactful change in the field.

It will bring together experts and advocates committed to improving the lives of children with disabilities across Europe.
