As a response to Covid-19 travel restrictions, Business Events Cairns & Great Barrier Reef has decided to support the bureau’s members and the meetings industry in a virtual way. A number of virtual site inspections are available on the Bureau’s site in order to show event organisers who cannot travel to the region the venues of the area.
The first three virtual site inspections showcase Riley, a Crystalbrook Collection Resort, Tanks Arts Centre and Hemingway’s Brewery Cairns Wharf; with more to come.

Like Google Street view, these 360-degree virtual videos allow planners to feel like they are on a real site inspection incorporating the information they need to inspire them.”
