Dubai’s continuous efforts for recovery from the crisis have resulted in the emirate winning a number of bids for the upcoming year. New events like the International DIP Symposium on Diabetes, Hypertension, Metabolic Syndrome and Pregnancy, the World Independent Advertising Award Conference and the Arab Association of Urology Annual Congress are all taking place in the next few months.
Dubai Business Events (DBE), the city’s official convention bureau, has collaborated with local stakeholders to secure these events, which will bring international visitors to the city and drive knowledge growth in their relevant sectors. DBE has managed throughout the pandemic to keep the image of Dubai as a desirable destination for meetings alive through a rich programme of webinars and virtual meetings.

In a number of cases, where unfortunately other cities have not proved viable for certain events through 2021, we have been able to step in to provide an alternative, and we continue to work with event planners to identify opportunities where Dubai can play a role in restarting their business events.”
