Dubai Expo City will play host to the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP28). The modern and sustainable facilities of the venue are in line with the event’s goals for sustainability, opportunity, and mobility.
45,000 participants daily, including heads of state, government officials, international industry leaders, private sector representatives, academics, experts and representatives of civil society organisations, are expected to visit UAE. The Emirates will get the opportunity to showcase the advancements made in climate action, especially renewable energy investments and low-emissions economic growth.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced that “the new city will be a global hub for innovation and creativity. It will represent a model for the future city that preserves the UAE’s legacy as an active contributor to the progress of the region and the world.”
