With great expertise in the aerospace industry, it comes as no surprise that the Aviation Summit took place in Toulouse. On February 3 and 4 the city gathered the Ministry of Ecological Transition and the Directors General of Civil Aviation of the 27 EU Member States, representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament and air transport stakeholders.
As part of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Sunmmit dealt with the decarbonization of air transport and the technological and social challenges to be met. The participating countries affirmed their support for the goal of achieving carbon neutrality in the air transport sector by 2050, which led to the Toulouse Declaration.
