Construction is well underway on the Bruges Meeting and Convention Centre (BMCC) . The contours of the building are now clearly visible, and a tree was recently placed atop the new building to celebrate the topping-out.
With the exception of a few details, the structural works are now complete and the interior works are currently being carried out. The completion of the building is scheduled for the autumn of 2021 and the BMCC will be up and running by January 2022. “We are already receiving a lot of requests from interested event organisers,” commented Sarah Cornand, director of BMCC.
To celebrate this milestone, the City of Bruges has produced a video giving a guided tour of the building. In addition, the new website of the Bruges Meeting and Convention Centre was launched.
